At the SANGIORGIO MARINE shipyards, we carried out this refit for a historic vessel, a well-known name in the sailing world with an undeniable impact.
The Kauris II required a substantial refit of its topsides, particularly with some issues at the bow. It was necessary to completely remove all the filler and undertake a new surface preparation with the goal of minimizing the presence of filler and giving the bow a more streamlined appearance. On the entire topsides, we performed a complete removal of the paint layers, and the surfaces were treated using fairing during every sanding phase to ensure a perfectly smooth finish.
Finally, the AwlGrip finishes ensured an excellent result, a source of pride for SANGIORGIO PAINTING and the SANGIORGIO MARINE shipyard.
